Sonu Sah

Sonu Sah is currently pursuing her PhD in English at the Institute of Language Studies and Research (ILSR) Kolkata while working as a Teacher (English) under Kolkata Municipal Corporation Urban School. She graduated from Siliguri College under University of North Bengal in 2015 with an honour's degree in English. Sonu completed her Masters in 2017 from Banaras Hindu University with first-class distinction and Post Graduate Diploma in Translation Skills in 2018 from the same University. She has completed her Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in 2019 from WBUTTEPA and Diploma in Elementary Education in 2020 from National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). She has also completed her MPhil from Sikkim University in 2022 with specialization in Bhojpuri Folk Drama focusing on Bhikhari Thakur's folk drama. She has qualified for the (WBSET) in 2018, NESLET and GATE in 2021.Her research area of interest include Culture studies, Folk Literature, Bhojpuri Literature, Gender Studies, Dalit Literature, Migration Studies, Memory Studies, and Translation studies. He is currently residing in Kolkata.
