- BLT: Target trainees of BLT (Bangla Language Teaching) are administrative officials, business executives posted in West Bengal for work, etc.
- BFL: Bangla as Foreign Language (BFL) would be a specially designed course for foreigners
- Specially designed course on Bangla Language and Bengali culture for NRIs.
- Specially designed courses on Santali, Nepali, Urdu, Sanskrit, Pali, etc
- Other Courses: Communicative English, Advanced English and English for Editing will be offered as emerging fields of training for those hailing from various disciplines.
- Faculty/Scholar-development Training programmes for in-service Teachers/ Professors/ Professionals of Govt-sponsored Schools/ Colleges/ Universities/institutions and private bodies in collaboration with School Education/ Higher Education Department.
- Training of foreign languages may facilitate good employment opportunities for the youths of West Bengal. Foreign language courses will be used as tools for social and economic progress.
