Sekh Shamim is currently pursuing his PhD in English at the Institute of Language Studies and Research (ILSR) Kolkata. He graduated from Aliah University in 2015 with an honors degree in English with a first-class first distinction. Sekh Completed his Masters with a specialization in Shakespeare Scholarship and Criticism in 2017 from Aliah University with first-class distinction. He also completed his Bachelor of Education (B.ed) in 2020 from WBUTTEPA. He has qualified for the National Eligibility Test (NET) several times. Sekh also qualified for WBSET in 2020. His research areas of interest include Posthuman Feminism, Gender Studies, Queer Studies, Dalit Literature, and Translation studies. He is currently residing in Kolkata.
