Maitrayee Mukherjee is Project Assistant in the Endangered Archives Program at the Institute of Language Studies and Research (ILSR) and the British Library. She completed her post-graduation in Comparative Literature from Jadavpur University in 2023, with Canadian Studies as her area studies course. She became a Citizen Historian at the 1947 Partition Archive in 2019, during her graduation years. She participated in the UGC-approved certificate course of 'Translation as a Skill' offered by the Centre for Translation of Indian Literatures (CENTIL), Department of Comparative Literature, Jadavpur University in 2020. She also completed the Post-graduate Certificate Course in Digital Humanities and Cultural Informatics from the School of Cultural Texts and Records (SCTR), Jadavpur University in 2023. She has attended the London School of Critical Theory 2024, organised by Birkbeck University of London. Her research interests include postcolonialism, critical theory, women and feminist studies and writings, gender studies, digital humanities, cultural studies and South Asian studies.
